Just got by another day, did some house work today, my room was dirty so tried cleaning it up alittle. I still prefer my room being in a mess cause its easier to find my stuff. In the afternoon went to meet melvin, Joseph, and Gabriel at Changi airport terminal 3. Its a new airport, freaking big. Took a MRT there, and i think i just took the longest escalator in Singapore. When you come out of the control station for Changi Airpot u can see it. It directly links to the level 2 of the airport which is actually the departure hall.

Think the longest and world record escalator is at Hong Kong’s Ocean Pack theme park. I have been the once and yes its actually built on the hill so if you wan to get to the top the escalator will take u there. However, its seperated into few sections. So its not totally escalator. If it is, it is a break through in engineering and technology i guess.

Meet them at terminal 3 than went to Popeye’s chicken for a meal.I would say its totally like KFC but there is just one choice of chicken not like KFC which has its orginal flavoured chicken. It only serves crispy chicken and the sizing of chickens would be much better compared to KFC. So ate our chix. Our aim of meeting each other was actually to do group revision for ODR. So thought of doing it at Popeye but it was to noisy, so decided to go for desserts than maybe could find some quiet place to study. So went to Swensen at first, looked at the menu, wasn’t that appealing so Mel suggested TCC. So we all went.

So did some ordering of desserts. Oops…forgot to mention that actually before i went to terminal 3, Mel, Jospeh and Gabriel was already at Macdonalds playing monopoly. So Joseph told me about Gabs monopoly game and its new banking function and buying and selling function, i was intrigue by the new technology and new way of playing that i wanted to give it a try. Think we forgot that we came out to study so tried the new game, no more monopoly cash only monopoly credit cards…wow. Haha, just a press of a button if u want to buy, sell, transfer funds and also collect the money if u pass ‘Go’. Great…kinda makes me feel how this game have evolved over the past few years, the different version of the game, like we have the spongbob edition, starwars edition, etc…I would say its a very clever way to make business and money. So sat down and play for a few hours.

Yup…Gab and his electronic banking system. This is also the machine i am talking about that does your paying and selling all that kinda stuff. Anyway, Gab is the banker of the game.

Its Monday now in Singapore as the clock just stroke 12 am. New begining, new month.Great isn’t it.

1st September 2008. Did nothing in the morning, went for breakfast with my mom and sister. Since i didn’t sleep well last night after breakfast took a nap. Woke up at 2pm plus and feltreally bored, so looked for some fun. Decided to go to gym so look forsome gym buddies found out that Shyan was free so went at 5 with him. Shyan is one of my secondary school buddies. So did some weights, chest press, bicep curls.

Before i went for my gym, actually i felt quite bored so start snapping pics again with my digital camera. Mr KooI was involved too. He destroyed my whole estate.

Think i am acting cute again but when you’re bored anything goes right…Well took some pics of my estate as well. Not the whole estate but what i can see out from my room window. Since i live at the highest level so everything its kinda clear to me.

Yup clear view. I feel that Singapore has kinda good standard of living compared to other neighbouring countries and its a no wonder why people might wan to migrate here. This are called HDB flats, HDB meaning Housing Developmental Board. So this flats are actually built by the government. Well, we have good sercurity in Singapore so its a safe place to be at and also live so migrants, you might want to consider here…

So i did nothing, and found out i have 3 pairs of shoes that i hardly wear. They look brand new. They are left on the shelves in my room for about few months probably. Kinda waste money though. Well just love to buy items i like. Even my mom nags at me everytime.

This are just some of my shoes. You should have seen my mom’s collection of korean drama DVDs and also the taiwanese drama DVDs, you will get a shock of your life. Will try to take some pics of it tomorrow.

Since there is nothing exciting going on today so will just stop for now. Also i have been reading through some of my post. I admit i have the worst grammer and vocabulary so sorry about it and bare with me. I am trying to improve on it.

Its 1st September 2008 12:41 am in Singapore

Have you ever feeled that mothers are the most wonderful people on earth? Well…i have. Yesterday just went to my grandma house early in the morning. Actually to help her out in cooking, but didn’t help much. I don’t really know how to cook so just look at what my mom and my grandma were cooking. You must be thinking what is the major event, why must we get up so early to cook.? Haha…yesterday was the last day of the hungry ghost month. In Singapore, many chinese make offerings on the hungry ghost month to the hungry ghost so as to keep the ghost at bay i guess don’t bother the family members and prosperity. Since young my grandma and my parents have told me stories about the hungry ghost month, its that the gates of hell will open and all the ghost will come to wander of the streets. The whole thing last for a month. Well i don’t really know what it is about so can’t tell you much about it but just that during the month alot of people in Singapore burn joss stick and paper money on the streets. So its kinda hazy and sometimes irritates my nose but can’t do anything about it. It’s our custom. So much for eco-green enviroment. Hope someone will come out with something to keep people from burning and stillpreserve the chinese custom. Guess its gonna be hard anyway.

Alright, so i was at the kitchen watching what the 2 wonder woman were cooking, and at the same time listening to their gossip. Its kinda irritating when they gossip. Never mind anyway guess its in our genes. So i manage took some pics before my mom question me what was i doing and i told her i started a web blog not long ago. So she hesitated for a moment look at me and say i don’t want to get famous ya know. I nearly fell of my seat when i heard that. It’s not gonna be I am going to be a star blogger or anything like that. But on second thought, if its possible why not, might want to be famous some day and being like some of our local star bloggers seems great. Here are some pics.

My family its like those typical chinese family. So looks simple. Than i got bored after that. Went to take some pics of the old buildings. Oo…anyway my grandma house is at Guilimard Road. Its kinda near XX’s place.

This is one of the many photos i took. Chose this because you don’t get to see this kind of stair case commonly in Singapore anymore and it kinda form a unique curl which i like it beri much.

After lunch i just went home, took a nap. Wake up, to look at my phone and Zhao Hong and Mel called me to play basketball at Bukit Panjang. Looked at the clock, it was already 7 plus, kinda late. So told them i couldn’t. Watch some telly. Yesterday channel 5 was showing ” Tears Of The Sun ” casting Bruce Willis. Its consider a war epic movie. The set is based in Africa, When a Civil War broke out. A group of Navy Seals…I guess, were sent to extract Americans living there. So went on fought some baddies. Guess if you really want to understand it, is to watch it. There is this quote at the end which is very meaningful. I can’t remember who wrote the quote but here goes. ” The only neccessary thing for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” Nice and i totally agree with that and i feel that if something is not right we gotta stand up to fight for what is right and not sit back or walk away. Than went to sleep at bout 3 plus midnight. I could not sleep…its maybe due to the sugar rush in my body because i drank two bottles of Pokka assorted flavour tea. Guess the caffine played apart too. Manage to fall asleep at about 6 plus am but was woken up again by my dogs as they were barking wildly at the paper boy. Couldn’t slp anymore so stayed awake until my mom knocks on my door and asked me out for breakfast. Oo i sleep alone in my own room and i close and lock my doors so my mom can’t get in freely. Its because i sleep “naked” haha, i feel its more comfortable. Anyway sorry for not posting yesterday, anyway my sis gave me a laptop i am real happy and excited because i get to take them whenever i wan to. Will blog again tonight. Now it’s time to head out for some gym and meal…

Okay i would like to start of by telling you 2 shows i have watched. One of them is a documentary and one a movie that was showed on channel 58 Star Movies for those with cable vision u will definetly get to see this channels. Thats if u pay for them…

All right i will start with documentary, was about 12 midnight when i watch mythbusters season 5 on discovery channel. They wanted to determine wether milk, tooth paste, vaseline gel, plain water, liquor or wasabi was able to get rid of spiceness in your mouth when u eat spicy stuff. They started eating mexican chilli or was it capsicums can’t really remember. They graded which of the items were effective and turn out the winner was milk. I think most of the people know this, but ya…they were testing out the myth and it was plausible. The most yucky part was vaseline gel…omg who in the right mind would eat that to ease of the spicy sensation. Vaseline is use to help ease the burning sensation and pain on your skin when u get burns…but not spicy and in your mouth please. eeks!

The movie part was i watched straight after the documentary…Bridge To Terabithia. Nice film, talking about imagination and freedom of expression. Kind of make me think when i was young and imagine alot of stuff…but the quote was “nothing can tear us down”. Nice meaningful makes me want to watch the movie again. So gonna do my favourite thing again buy DVDs. yeppie

Today was a fine day slight drizzle in Singapore, its been raining for the past few days so the weather’s kinda wet. It’s great, since its almost humid and warm all year round in Singapore. However, not too great if you are heading out or playing outdoor sports. Went to school in the morning, never bath cause i think its just for a short period of time in school. Just when there to hand up my project work on career development. My conscious got me when i heard someone said smelly on the bus i was taking. Immediatly i smell hard and in my mind hopping it wasn’t me. Frantic i looked around pretending too pass the fault to others. A sign of relieve came when i heard a whisper “eew see that ah pek with the plastic bag smelly…” (ah pek means elderly man in dialect) so i let out a sigh of relieve but started to think how bad it was to comment on people. Bad person; but anyway who does not. So when to school hand up project called my lecturer he never picked up. Instead it was a lady that pciked up and said she could help me hand it up to him. i begin to lose faith in this lecturers as my previous project was misplaced by some lecturer and this was the second time i was doing this but never mind. This time i got the lecturers name before giving her. So handed up, and went back home. As i was walking, thought of taking a cab but there was no cab in sight….darn. Okay this is from my point of view, everytime i want to take cab after peak hours, its just as though all cabs went missing and during peak hours you can see them coming in 3 or 4. Its kinda bad like as though they are only working during peak hours…haha anyway this is just from my point of view and i don’t know wether any Singaporeans experience it. Walked and came to the bus stop, decided on taking bus and amazing thing is the bus came faster than i thought. Took the bus home and wait for she to come my house.

She came my house slack awhile watch some telly. Than i went for a bath. Thats after when i told her i have not bath. Immediatly she gave me that disgusted look pushing me to bath. Well it wasn’t my normal routine not to bath when i wake up so today was an exception. Think i am kinda lazy. So i went, decided to go take my dry clean at Paragon Orchard with she. After that, we headed back to City Hall Suntec and i must say, its flooded with humans…

This is due to COMEX 2008. To those who don’t know, it’s actually an IT Fair selling IT products which go lower than normal price and some new stuff as well…and its human nature that people would go for stuffs that are on discount. So that explains why the crowd is there. Well i didn’t went in as it was really packed with people but i still manage to capture some pics on my way to suntec. I was also able to capture some pics of the F1 night race in Singapore!!!

My Ultimate Favourite

Okay this is the good part, Its located at the last column of the market. can be easily spotted as they use metal plate to serve their steam fish and read plate and bowls to serve soup and other dishes. so its kinda easy to spot them and they sell at real decent prices for a meal. I only paid a total of S$29 for the 2 dishes and 2 bowls of rice. As for the pig organ soup its at the left hand side of the shop at exact same column of this store.

So this is the whole picture of everything. I and she ate to our mouth full. Decided to head back home for me as my mom wants to eat Chong Pang Chicken Wings. It is also one of my hot favourites. So just buy it for the empress dowager. the shop is also easy to spot as it is facing the streets. So bid farewell to she after buying the chix wings. Took a cab, went straight home, welcomed home by my two dogs wagging their tail like there is no tomorrow…kind of makes me ponder is it me or the food that i am carrying that is making them react that way…well got to go with the food i guess as the gigantic Toyo poked her wet and runny nose to the plastic bag i am carrying. Gave it to my mom. she eat and begin to nag again about her work stuff and at the same time watching korean dramas.( Get a Life MOM) So i ignored her took a bath and now its 12:16 midnight and i am still typing. Well thats all.

Yes, continue from there. We went home. Next day was exam so Wednesday everyone looked serious. The exam started at 1pm but of course there is still smart alecs in my class who finish even before the time passed 1 hour. Well i must say i finish kinda fast to, haha so i am considered quite smart. After that, there was Outdoor Recreation Briefing and than there was Sports and Wellness and also known as physical education in our school and my the new teacher was a nag. Can understand her feelings and understand her stress as she takes our class because teaching my class its like teaching people whom is already in the sports profession because most of us actually knows the right technique and ways to train. Different types of games so it kinda hard sometimes. i understand, but she’s still a nag but nvm its that last time we will be seeing her anyway. Not exactly last but the last time she is taking our class. So we went to the gym, workout and after that was miss Tay Xiao Xuan’s badminton match. Some background information about miss Tay is that she claims to be the most beautiful and gorgeous woman in our school. Well anyway thats for you to judge. some pics of her badminton match.

Zhao Hong and XX

She won the game and my she plays like pro. Played with her once, i must say she is pro and hits the shuttle cock to my face everytime…darn. Yup, so watched her play finish than we went to Food Haven in our school in simpler terms its cafe 1 since its based on the ground floor. Slack and eat, and decided to go watch Zhao Hong play his Basketball match and at the same time seek inspiration from him and his team. We watched his game Adeline, Hui Qin, Serene, XX, Jospeh, Mel and me went to BAS court in Aljunied. Don’t really know which street it is so ya can’t really tell u. Watched his match saw some familiar faces and made me recall about some things. Just notice Serene just skinn her knees and it looks watery but actually its dry and looks as though pus might just explode out from her knees if she flex them.

So, the match was said to start at 7pm but we waited and waited eventually it started at about 8:30 pm. This kinda reminds me about punctuality. Well who has never been late before. Gosh…than we watch him play and chit chat with Qin about her injury on her leg and her basketball stuff and discussed with Adeline about the boys on the court and i must say…there is this particular team which is playing against zhao hong team looks all weirdo and must say the guy Zhao Hong mention and the player bearing the num 13 jersey looks like fag. Okie i would like to speak the truth the whole team looks weird in appearance like they have been living near nuclear powerplants and there was a nuclear leak. i know i should not comment on appearances but their actions utterly disgust me. One of the players even acted cool…but i must say i can do ten times better. Enough of them…so we watched him play and than we went for dinner at Aljunied.

We sat and ate and chit chat. Saw Melvin wearing his team Singapore shirt. Some background information about Melvin. He won lots of award. One that made me admire him was he won the outstanding youth award which i think was bronze award. Although its bronze, but i kinda great. (I hope i didn’t get the award you won, wrong .Mel.) He is also the sports ammbassador of Singapore. So he gets to go to sea games and asian games and get people to support the  Singapore team. So his kinda involve in sports.

Slacking

So after that we took cab home send Xiao Xuan home first as her house was a street away from the red light districts in Geylang so its more important we sent her home than followed by i sent joseph to the bus stop opposite Paya Lebar Mrt. He say it was faster and quicker to get home at that bus stop and he did not wan to go Tampines Interchange to take bus. So he alighted and i went home on the cab.

Reach home, took a bathe watch television and take photo time as i saw one of the soft toy she bought for me. It was the ginger bread man. Saw this soft toy during the class chalet. It was a gift from Zhao Hong to Jospeh find it cute so i and her spent some time looking and she found it at Suntec City. Jospeh’s was much lighter in colour and the tone of the toy its exactly like ginger breadman…however, mine is Black Ginger Breadman. Take a look.
